ABOUT THE BOOK

Jesus taught in John Chapter 15 that just as the branch depends on the vine for all its needs so the Christian needs to depend on God as the Source of their life. For Jesus this was not only wise words but a reflection of the relationship He had with His Father. In Total Dependence on God the author teaches what dependence on God is all about, who it applies to, why it is so important and how it works out in everyday experience. Each chapter includes stories of men and women who have been unable to live without God and practised total dependence on God. The book will encourage you and challenge you in equal measures. It is written not merely to inform, but also to transform and the examples chosen help demonstrate how each and every believer can also totally depend on God.

Ken Millwood - Author
Ken grew up in a Christian home, but only made a commitment to Christ when he was studying at University in Bristol. After finishing his degree in 1989, unable to get work in Chemistry, he worked with Open Air Campaigners (OAC) for two years in the UK and abroad. He went to work for the civil service (MAFF & Defra) in 1991 staying there until accepting redundancy in February 2008 to take time out to start writing Total Dependence on God. He returned to paid employment in May 2009 working part-time for a Christian ministry based in Bath until September 2013; and is currently looking for admin work in Bristol. He attends a church in South Bristol, is part of a church puppet team, and preaches on the streets (and even occasionally in churches as well). He relaxes by watching films, reading and cooking. This will be his first book.
